Ideas are meant to be shared.

The screenplays, stories, essays, and other work featured on Freedom 65 Project were written to be read, performed, filmed, discussed, adapted, and enjoyed.

Mainly, they were written to have a life beyond the page.

If something you find here inspires you, makes you laugh, or sparks an idea of your own, I’d love to hear from you.

Students, actors, filmmakers, producers, and independent creators are especially welcome. If you are interested in producing one of my scripts, adapting a story, organizing a reading, collaborating on a project, or simply reaching out, please get in touch.

Students and independent filmmakers with limited budgets are encouraged to reach out. Money should not be an unnecessary obstacle to making something worthwhile.

The Freedom 65 Project is built on curiosity, collaboration, and the belief that creative work becomes more interesting when other people engage with it.

Free for Non-Commercial Production

Students, actors, filmmakers, and independent creators may perform, film, adapt, translate, and share material from this website free of charge for non-commercial purposes, subject to the following conditions:

• Please credit Alejo Cerrato as the original writer.

• When adapting a work, clearly identify it as an adaptation and credit both the original writer and the adapter.

• Commercial use—including sale, monetization, licensing, or distribution for profit—requires prior written permission.

• If you produce a script, adapt a story or essay, or use any other material from this website, I’d love to hear about it and, when possible, see the finished work.

• If you plan to stage a live production of one of my scripts, please let me know in advance. I’d love to attend if I can.
